In short and in plain language
Text form is a form for legal statements under German law.
The text must be easy to read. It must say who wrote it.
It must also last, for example as an email. A signature by hand is not needed.
Definition
Form of a declaration under the German Civil Code: legible, naming the person making it and on a durable medium, for example an email. A handwritten signature is not required.
