Pricing for trade business websites
A fixed price for the project and monthly support you can cancel with one month's notice to the end of the month. You know what the invoice will say before the work begins.
In short and in plain language
This page shows our prices. They are for websites for trade businesses.
You pay a fixed price for the new website. You know the price before you place the order. Anything not in the quote, we talk about first.
The price covers the setup, the enquiry form, the legal notice and the privacy policy. The photo visit at your site is part of it too.
You can also book monthly services if you want. Then we look after your site. Or we host it, which means we keep it online for you. These services can be canceled with one month's notice to the end of the month. There is no minimum term.
Once everything is paid, the website belongs to your business. Ask us for a quote. Write to us or give us a call.

A new website costs 1,490 euros net as a fixed price and covers up to eight pages, a structure built around your trades, the reference section, the enquiry form, phone-first operation and the legally required pages. Replacing an existing website starts at 2,900 euros net. Ongoing services are booked separately, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, with no minimum term.
Most website quotes start with a range and end with a surprise. This page states what a website for a trade business costs with us, what that amount covers and which items can be added month by month. If you need a new website, the entry point is a fixed price from 1,490 euros net. If a site already exists and needs replacing, a relaunch from 2,900 euros net is the right route.
The three routes side by side
The essentials in five sentences
- A new website at a fixed price from 1,490 euros net, replacing an existing website from 2,900 euros net. The amount is in the quote before you sign anything.
- Ongoing services are booked individually: website support from 49 euros per month, hosting in Germany from 15 euros per month, both cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month with no minimum term.
- Visibility is billed separately: local visibility and business profile from 290 euros per month, SEO support from 490 euros per month, each cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month with no minimum term.
- The photo session on your site has no separate price. It sits inside the project price, because a trade website does not work without your own images.
- All amounts quoted are net prices plus statutory VAT. Prices as of September 2026.
What the fixed price covers
A fixed price only works when both sides know what they are talking about. That is why the scope is settled before any figure appears in the quote: how many pages there will be, which trades get a page of their own, which towns are addressed and whether a careers section belongs to it. After that the amount does not move, even if one more round of corrections is needed than planned. Anything not in the quote is not billed quietly, it is discussed first. 89 percent (Bitkom) of trade businesses report that customers increasingly expect individual offers. That applies to your customers and to you alike: an off-the-shelf offer rarely fits. Finished pages are shown in the design examples; the trades we work with regularly are listed under industries.
Structure and page layout
Home page, one service page per trade, reference section, contact and the mandatory legal pages. The structure follows your services, not a template that would look the same for every business.
Operation on a phone
Most enquiries arrive from a phone, often while standing and with one hand. Font sizes, spacing and tap targets are built for that, not for a large screen in an office.
Photo session on site
An appointment on a running or finished job, so real images exist instead of stock motifs. This item carries no separate price, it is part of the project price.
Enquiry form with a filter
Trade, location and scope are asked for before the message reaches you. That saves the callbacks where it turns out after two minutes that the job does not suit your business.
Location and service area
The towns your people actually drive to appear on the site. Anyone searching in your region then finds the business that will genuinely turn up.
Legal basics
We set up the legal notice and privacy policy, encrypted transfer and a contact route that does not run into nothing. That belongs in the fixed price, not in an extra item at the end. Reviewing the content of the legal texts is a matter for your legal adviser.
Ongoing costs: only what you need
Once the site goes live, only what you have booked is charged, such as hosting or support. A website does age, though: certificates expire, systems need updates, phone numbers and opening hours change, and eventually the site still lists an employee who left two years ago. If you would rather not handle that yourself, book website support from 49 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, no minimum term. 94 percent (Bitkom) of trade businesses use a website of their own. The difference is therefore no longer whether a site exists, but what condition it is in and who looks after it.
| Ongoing service | Net price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Website support | from 49 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, no minimum term | System updates, a daily backup, availability checks and small text and image changes within the agreed scope |
| Hosting in Germany | from 15 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, no minimum term | Operation on servers in Germany, the certificate for encrypted transfer, mail forwarding for your business address |
| Local visibility and business profile | from 290 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, no minimum term | Upkeep of your business profile, alignment of your details across directories, posts about completed work |
| SEO support | from 490 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month, no minimum term | Continuous work on text, structure and loading time plus further location and service pages, see SEO for tradespeople |
| Photo session on site | included in the project price, no separate charge | An appointment on one of your jobs with images of the work, the team and the result for the reference section and home page |
| Further location and trade pages | by scope, priced in the quote | When areas beyond the agreed towns and trades are to receive a page of their own |
Price date, VAT and commitment
Fixed price rather than an hourly rate
You do not price a boiler replacement by the hour and send the invoice afterwards either. You look at the cellar, work out material and labour, issue a quote and stand by it. We work the same way. An hourly rate shifts the entire risk onto the customer, because every query, every extra round and every detour raises the invoice without anyone having wanted that in advance. 87 percent (Bitkom) of businesses observe that customers have become considerably more price-sensitive. Anyone requesting a quote today compares it with others, and an amount that is only settled at the end of the project is simply worthless in that comparison. The wider differences between a site builder, an hourly rate and a fixed price are covered under site builder or agency.
Three ways to pay for a website
A factual comparison of the usual models. Which one fits depends on how much of your own time you want to put in.
Site builder on a monthly plan
- Included: Small starting amount, a first version exists in one evening
- Not included: The monthly fee keeps running for as long as the site exists
- Not included: Structure, text, images and upkeep stay entirely with you
- Not included: After cancelling, little of the structure usually remains
Billing by hourly rate
- Included: Sensible when the scope is genuinely open at the start
- Not included: The final sum is only known once the work is finished
- Not included: Every extra round of coordination raises the invoice
- Not included: For planning inside the business, only an estimate remains
Fixed price with trade knowledge
- Included: The amount stands before the order: from 1,490 euros net
- Included: The on-site photo session is included, not added on
- Included: The website belongs to your business after acceptance and full payment, support contract or not
- Included: Support optional from 49 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month
What moves the price upwards
Scope and available material decide
Quantity, not looks
The most common misconception is that a more elaborate design costs more. That is rarely the case. A website becomes more expensive through quantity: the number of trades that need a page of their own, the number of towns addressed specifically, and content that does not yet exist and has to be created first. An electrical contractor with three service areas and one operating area sits at the lower end of the range. A business with six trades, eight towns and its own careers section sits above it, item by item and traceably so.
- The number of service and trade pages
- The number of towns that are to receive a page of their own
- Whether text and images exist or still have to be produced
How scope becomes an amount
It starts with a conversation, usually on the phone and usually in the evening, because the site keeps you busy during the day. After that we look at the material available: photos on a phone, an old website, entries in directories. 88 percent (Bitkom) of trade businesses are listed in online directories, and what is written there deviates from today's reality surprisingly often. Scope and available material produce a quote with a fixed amount and a list of what it covers. How to take usable photographs with your own phone is explained under photos for trade websites.
- A conversation about trades, service area and the aim of the site
- A review of existing photos, older sites and directory entries
- A quote with a fixed amount and an explicitly named scope
From the first call to the invoice
A conversation, no site visit needed
A phone call of around twenty minutes. We ask about your trades, your service area, the material you already have and what the website is meant to achieve: enquiries, applications or both. Free of charge and without obligation.
A quote with a fixed amount
You receive in writing what will be built, how many pages it will be and what the fixed price covers. Items that are not included are stated openly underneath rather than in small print at the end.
Photo appointment on your site
An appointment on a running or finished job. The images are taken in daylight, with your people and your materials. This item has no separate price, it is part of the project price.
Build and sign-off
We deliver whole pages rather than fragments, so that coordination needs a few fixed appointments instead of running alongside everything else. You see the site in full before it goes live and release it yourself.
Go-live and ongoing operation
After that you decide whether to add support from 49 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month and with no minimum term, or to maintain the site yourself. Either way, after full payment the website belongs to your business.

You need a figure to plan with, not a range
Tell us which trades you offer and which towns you work in. After that there is an amount in the quote that you can plan around.
