Websites for tradespeople, built right once

We build complete websites for trade businesses with 3 to 40 employees — structure, copy, images and technology. The price is fixed before any work starts, and after acceptance and full payment everything belongs to you: domain, credentials, content.

Fixed price from 1,490 euros net Usually a few weeks On-site appointment in the region

In short and in plain language

We build complete websites for trade businesses. This covers layout, text, photos and the tech.

You pay a fixed price. You know the price before we start. It stays the same as long as the scope stays the same.

We build the site for phones first. Your phone number is easy to see. If you lack good photos, we come and take them.

Once everything is paid, it all belongs to you, the domain too. A domain is the address of your website on the internet. Further care is up to you. It can be canceled with one month's notice to the end of the month. There is no minimum term.

The first meeting is free. Call us or write to us.

A website for a trade business is neither a work of art nor a software project. It is a tool, and it has to do three things: explain what you do, show that you can do it, and make the phone call easy. Everything else is trimming. This page sets out what we build for the fixed price, how the process runs, what you have to contribute yourself and where our work ends. The wider picture is under Services, the full list under Prices. There are no invented figures here: wherever a figure appears, the source stands next to it.

The short version

  • The price is agreed before the project starts and does not move as long as the agreed scope does not move.
  • The usual span is a few weeks from sign-off of the draft (own project experience); the pace is almost always set by how quickly copy and photos are approved.
  • Your own effort comes down to a few appointments: one meeting, one round of photos, one approval.
  • After handover the domain, credentials and content belong to the business. Ongoing support is available, but it is not a condition.
  • The site is built for the phone first and for the office screen second.

Which businesses we build for

94 percent (Bitkom) of German trade businesses run their own website. That sounds reassuring until you look at what those sites actually are: presences from 2012 with no mobile operation, a half-finished draft someone in the family started three years ago, or a subpage at the hosting provider with a phone number and opening hours. At the same time 74 percent (Bitkom) of businesses find that customers have become more critical, and 85 percent (Bitkom) see a clear expectation of constant availability. Someone with water in the cellar at half past nine in the evening looks at three businesses and calls the one whose site answers the question in twenty seconds. That is exactly where jobs are lost without anyone ever finding out.

The business with no presence

Work used to come by recommendation, and for a year or two that has no longer been enough. Everything is built from scratch here: structure, copy, images, form.

The site from the day before yesterday

It exists, but it is unusable on a phone and out of date. If content and domain are to stay, replacing the existing website is the right route.

The business looking for staff

Qualified tradespeople and apprentices check a business online first. A dedicated section for vacancies and apprenticeships then belongs in the plan from the start.

The business with a clear area

You drive thirty, perhaps sixty kilometres and no further. Then the area has to be on the site so that enquiries from outside never arise in the first place.

The business with emergency call-outs

Fault, burst pipe, storm damage: what counts is the route to the handset. Call button at the top, the rule visible, never a form as the only option.

The business covering several trades

Electrical and heating, roofing and carpentry: every service gets its own page so that each one is found and understood on its own terms.

What the fixed price covers

The scope is deliberately tight and fully described. Up to eight pages means in practice: home page, three to five service pages, one page about the business, contact with directions, and the legal texts. Added to that are the preparation of your project photos, an enquiry form that asks the key questions up front, and setup on a server in Germany. If you need more pages, we say so before the quote rather than in the final invoice. Anything that adds time is named up front as well: a second language version, a vacancies area with its own upkeep, or a price list that changes constantly. Such points appear as their own line in the quote, with their own amount, so you can strike them without the rest wobbling.

Two things that make the difference

Built for the phone first

Most visits come from a mobile, often outdoors, often in a hurry. So the site is built in that order: small screen first, large screen second. Big tap targets, real contrast in sunlight, phone number on the first screen. What that looks like in practice is shown in the design examples.

  • Tap targets you can hit wearing work gloves
  • Call button reachable without scrolling
  • Readable in bright sun on site
  • Short loading time on a mobile connection too

The work comes first, not the welcome text

Many trade websites open with a paragraph about tradition and quality. It is rarely read. What works is photos from your own jobs, short sentences about each service and a clearly named area. Same substance, different order — more on that under web design for trade businesses.

  • Your own project photos instead of stock imagery
  • One sentence per service before the long text
  • Service area in the first section, not in the imprint
  • A price range or a process instead of pure self-description

How the project runs

Five steps, with no rounds that serve no purpose. After each step you know what happens next and what is needed from you. Meetings take place at your premises or by phone, whichever suits you better. There is exactly one contact person on each side. You get interim states as a link rather than an attachment, and every piece of feedback is collected into one pass. If the business hits two busy weeks, the project pauses instead of creating pressure.

About twenty minutes by phone or at your premises: trades, service area, which jobs you want more of and which you want fewer of. After that we know whether eight pages are enough.

What you need to contribute

The effort on your side is manageable, but it cannot be reduced to nothing. It is spread over a few appointments across the whole project: one meeting, gathering material and one approval. Above all we need one thing: a person in the business who is allowed to decide. Projects that drag on almost always drag on because nobody is responsible. If you have a business profile, we also need access to it.

  • One contact who may sign off copy and design
  • A logo in a usable resolution, if one exists
  • Access to the domain and current hosting, where both exist
  • A handful of jobs that may be shown, ideally with location and year
  • Details for the imprint and privacy notice: chamber of crafts, chamber district, professional title
  • Two hours in which we may take photographs, if there are no usable images

What the project price does not include

So that the final invoice holds no surprises: not included are ongoing search engine work, paid advertising, running social media accounts, an online shop, customer portals and interfaces to your trade software. Ongoing maintenance after handover is a separate item too — it is available as website support from 49 euros per month, cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month and with no minimum term, but it is not a condition.

What it costs

All amounts are net prices plus VAT. A new website at a fixed price starts at 1,490 euros net for the scope described above. Replacing an existing website and carrying over its content starts at 2,900 euros net, because a survey of the old site, content migration and redirects are added. There are four ongoing items, all cancelable with one month's notice to the end of the month and with no minimum term: website support from 49 euros per month, hosting in Germany from 15 euros per month, local visibility including the business profile from 290 euros per month, and search engine support from 490 euros per month. No item is a precondition for any other.
