Handwerker Webagentur is not a sideline and not a department of a larger provider. We build websites for businesses that work with tools: electrical, plumbing and heating, roofing, painting, joinery, carpentry, tiling and metalwork. Why we stick to the trades
Germany has 1,038,126 (German Confederation of Skilled Crafts) businesses entered in the crafts registers and the register of craft-like trades. That is a vast market, and yet the websites within it look remarkably alike: the same purchased images, the same sentences about quality and reliability, the same contact page with a form nobody reads. That is rarely the fault of the business. It happens because many providers serve a dentist today, an online shop tomorrow and a roofer the day after, and therefore start from scratch every time. Anyone who always serves the same trade already knows the questions that otherwise surface in the third meeting.

Who works here, and from where
Handwerker Webagentur is operated by XICTRON, based at Glockruthenallee 16 in 31185 Söhlde near Hildesheim. We deliberately do not quote an invented team size and we do not put purchased portrait photos on this page. What matters to you is different anyway: from your first question until after launch you speak to the same person. That person knows your business, your trades and the structure of your site and does not have to be briefed again for every small thing. We are not reachable around the clock — that would be a promise we could not keep while work is running. We answer messages within one working day as a rule.
Söhlde sits between Hildesheim, Salzgitter and Peine. From here, Hanover, Brunswick and Hildesheim are all under an hour away. Photos and copy
We spend half a day alongside your work — site, workshop, vehicles, finished jobs — and review what you already have. Then we write the copy and give it to you to read through. More on this under photos for trade websites.

The pages take shape and are checked on a phone first, then on a desktop. You see the current state on your own device before anything is public. Change requests at this stage are part of the project and cost nothing extra.

What our work costs
Prices belong on the table before anyone invests time. A new website is built at a fixed price from 1,490 euros net. A relaunch of an existing website starts at 2,900 euros net, because content has to be reviewed, addresses redirected and old baggage cleared out. Ongoing services are billed monthly: SEO support from 490 euros per month, local visibility including the business profile from 290 euros per month, website support with updates, backups and availability from 49 euros per month, hosting in Germany from 15 euros per month. All monthly services can be canceled with one month's notice to the end of the month, with no minimum term. The full list is under prices.

This comparison is not a put-down. A website builder is often perfectly adequate for a one-person business with two pages, and a large agency can do things we do not offer. We simply state plainly what we are built for: businesses with roughly three to forty staff who have no time to build it themselves and no appetite for a sales relationship.
