BeschV
Abbreviation for Beschäftigungsverordnung
In short and in plain language
The BeschV is a German rule on work by people from abroad.
It says when they may work in Germany. It also says when the job agency has to agree.
For firms, one point matters: in some cases, work experience can count too.
Definition
The BeschV is the German Employment Ordinance. It sets out when foreign nationals may be employed in Germany and when the Federal Employment Agency gives its approval. It supplements the Residence Act and, for businesses, describes cases in which work experience can count towards employment.
