Does the accessibility obligation apply to us?

In short and in plain language

There is a German law on accessibility. Very small firms that offer services are often left out of it.

Whether this is true for you depends on your staff and your sales.

You still need a legal notice and a privacy page. A site that is hard to use costs you requests.

So we build your site to be easy to use.

Answer
The German Accessibility Strengthening Act exempts micro-enterprises that offer or provide services, meaning firms with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet total of no more than 2 million euros (German Accessibility Strengthening Act). That does not exempt you from the legal notice and privacy statement, and a site that is hard to use costs you enquiries. So we build it usable regardless.
