recognition grant

The recognition grant is money from the German government.
It helps pay for having training from abroad checked. There is an upper limit.
People who live in Germany and earn little can apply. It does not pay for language classes.
Definition
Federal funding that can reimburse the costs of a recognition procedure for a foreign vocational qualification up to a limit. It is aimed at people who live in Germany and have a low income. It does not cover language courses.
